2025 THEME: "BUILDING TOGETHER"

In one year, our congregation aims to purchase land to establish the centrifuge, paying off 44% of the total $500,000 cost in one year. To achieve this goal, we plan to allocate $200,000 as a down payment and divert $3,500 monthly toward the interest and principal. To cover both the monthly land payment and our current rent, we ask each giving unit to consider contributing an additional $175 per month—above and beyond regular tithes and offerings—directly to the building fund. That equals an extra $2,100 a year.

What does this mean?

Over the next two weeks, we are asking all members and regular attenders to pray over an amount (above their normal tithes and offerings) that they could give on a monthly basis. We need a total commitment of $3,500 to move forward with the land purchase. We will vote on Sunday, January 19th, based upon the total commitments received.

Commit what You can...

While you pray, seek the Lord's face over your building commitment. To make this happen, all giving units should shoot to give $175, but don't allow that inability to reach that number count you out. Write down what you can commit to on a monthly basis for this year and trust the Lord to provide.

Others may be able to give more than $175. Write down that commitment and that overage will help offset commitments under the needed amount. Bottom line, we all must come together for this project.

Where do I write down my commitment?

You can write down your commitment on one of the "building commitment cards" and place the card into the offering bucket. The cards are located on the table in the hallway of the church.
